The Washington Host Committee and volunteers are excitedly developing guest and youth programs to showcase all that the South Puget Sound has to offer. Please note that children and guests must be registered to attend any program sessions, events, or meals.

Guest Program

For our adult guests, join your Washington hosts on memorable outings to entertain you during your stay. Take a guided stroll along Tacoma’s waterfront and an exclusive tour of the History Museum as you learn interesting facts about Washington State.  Explore the architecture and history of the beautiful Pantages Theater and visit the Broadway Farmers Market with antique and specialty shops along the way.  One lucky guest program attendee will win a “Wonderful Washington” gift basket as a memento!  New friends and wonderful memories await.

We welcome our guests for a Meet ‘n’ Greet with your hosts and fellow guests to learn more about the guest program on Wednesday, August 16th at 9:15a.m. in the Torcello/Burano Room at the Hotel Murano.  Representatives from Travel Tacoma will be on hand to share information on local attractions, outdoor recreation, and fun activities to do in beautiful Tacoma and the surrounding area. Stop in for a bit of Washington State trivia and a special token for our guests!

Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for all Guest Program activites. Please note activities are subject to change
