The CSG-WEST Executive Committee reviews the work and activities of the policy committees and adopts policy positions expressing the sense of the organization. Under the CSG-WEST Executive Committee rules, it serves as the Board of Directors of the organization. The committee is comprised of CSG-WEST officers and policy committee leadership as well as other legislators designated by the appointing authority in each legislative chamber in the 13 western states. The Executive Committee of CSG-WEST works with staff and officers of the Western Governors’ Association, Western Municipal Conference and Western Interstate Region of the National Association of Counties to insure consistent and creative advocacy of the West’s interests by its political leadership on the state and local level.
